WEBFeb 1, 2016 · The DMM is an instant classic. You obviously don't get all the modes of the other two, but what it does, it does infinitely better than the Timeline or DD-500. I think the Timeline wins on making weird delay sounds like ice delay. The DD-500 sounds and functions on par with the Timeline but it's more editable and $200 cheaper.

If you have one wave with phase theta, and another identical but with phase theta +/- 180 degrees, they should cancel out. The buffered output is probably just some simple buffer circuit to make up for any drops in gain, and provide a "optimal" impedance.

Like maybe both mics were mathematically equi-distant from the speakers. Try moving ONE mic closer or farther to interfere with the relationship.
