That is with Win10 v. 20H2, Nvidia quadro k5000 card, VLC v. 3.0.11, and a plain HD ProRes 422 file. It's under under Tools > Preferences, Video tab : Output. There are 2 OpenGL entries, and both work. The "Direct3D9" entry also works.

WEBSep 14, 2021 · I use MPC-HC and VLC, one for h264 and the other for h265 material. I don't have issues with MPC, I can watch movies for hours, and the PC would never go in the sleep mode. But when I use VLC player, my PC goes to sleep mode after 20 minutes (this is set up in Windows settings). The "Disable screensaver" option is checked.
