Briar is a census-designated place in Parker, Tarrant and Wise counties in the U.S. state of Texas, near the west side of Eagle Mountain Lake.The population was 7,035 in 2020. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 21.9 square miles, of which 20.5 square miles is land and 1.5 square miles, or 6.83%, is water.
