First of all, before going I kept looking for information about visiting and didn’t find much. So I’ll tell you, there’s no entry fee, if you drive through town and down the hill there’s free parking…Full review by Kimberly B

We planned our road trip from San Diego to the Grand Canyon (West) through this route and it was such a neat experience. The whole thing reminded us of the movie ‘Cars.’ It was adorable. There are so…Full review by GlobeTrotterNL1

I do not know if the burros are there every day of the year, but when we were there, we saw maybe 50-ish in that tiny town. So I think they more/less live there. We also saw a lot of burros in the hills while driving into the town and also around a pullout while driving out of town. The shops sell bags of burro food, for approx $2 if I recall - and the bag is enough to feed more than you probably want to spend time feeding! (So they know where the easy food is located... which is more incentive to stay in town.)

This is a real western working town. People live and work there. There are restaurants, bars, restrooms, ice cream stores, western wear stores, donkeys in the streets, and tourist stores. The road down is epic, with 191 switchback curves. It's paved and narrow. 'Go slowly' is not a just a suggestion, it's a warning, when you can look over the edge and see the abandoned wrecks. There are no shows to my knowledge.
