As a Veteran, admission for the whole family (total 5 adults and 4 kids) was free. Nice exhibits, art collection excellent and interactive color playtime super! Full review by irwinfox

If you go to the museum web site and click on the menu in the upper right, click Art and then Collection and you'll get a good sense of what's there.

I simply bought my ticket at the door when seeing the Picasso exhibit. In fact, I have never booked ahead the times I have visited the museum. Then again I went early and on a weekday. They do have free parking in the back. Perhaps you could call ahead or email them to make sure.
