Great explanation on Waves of immigration of Jews to Shanghai with great displays. Good for Middle school age and up. It has a small gift shop and cafe.Full review by Kifaro1

Although I do not know the museum schedule, I've never seen a museum in China closed on a Monday or any other day for that matter. The entire area is full of Jewish history so make sure you'll be visiting it all. The best is to ask the hotel concierge to call.

Hi you don't need to have a tour guide to visit this historical place. This shows you how one man helped so many people to leave the horror of the Nazis in Europe. I took a cab to the museum which has audio guides and movies, then walked around the neighborhood and visited all the places mentioned in all the books on Shanghai. China is simply amazing in terms of fascinating discovery of thousand years of history, art, philosophy, sciences, medicine, ....The Chinese people are truly hospitable and kind and fun...
