Mesa is a census-designated place in Inyo County, California, United States. The population was 251 at the 2010 census, up from 214 at the 2000 census. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.7 square miles, of which, 3.5 square miles of it is land and 0.2 square miles of it is water.
