Would this be a good place for a quick tasting? We're on the road but would love to visit a Germany winery and have a tasting (well, the wife. I'll just sip a couple sips) . Also is it appropriate for our 6 year old to be with us? She does fine in the Santa Ynez wineries, but they're pretty family oriented to begin with. Thanks!

Yes you could do a tasting for 5 euro, look at the view and be on your way. There isn't anything for kids to do but there were children there for lunch. Probably be ok since the wife is …

Yes you could do a tasting for 5 euro, look at the view and be on your way. There isn't anything for kids to do but there were children there for lunch. Probably be ok since the wife is doing a quick tasting. The Riesling is delicious. 900 year old winery. The view is spectacular too. There is an even more amazing view nearby at the Niederwalddenkmal statue! Cheers!
