The seasonal service to Vancouver will give Triangle travelers two options to western Canada, including WestJet’s nonstop flights to Calgary.

Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) on Monday announced Air Canada will begin nonstop flights to Vancouver in June 2025.

This marks the third new international destination that will launch from Raleigh-Durham International Airport in 2025.

The new flight brings the number of international destinations out of RDU to 12, a record for the airport. Through October, nearly 248,000 people had boarded flights at RDU bound for international destinations. That's nearly a 28 percent increase over last year.
