Congress MLA from Igatpuri, Hiraman Bhika Khoskar, has joined the Ajit Pawar led-Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), ahead of the Assembly elections in Maharashtra.

In an event in Chandgad, Goa CM Sawant said Shivaji Patil had lost the 2019 polls by a slender margin and in this edition support should be such that he wins.

Congress MLA Hiraman Khoskar has not been active in the party since the Rajya Sabha elections. He was suspected of cross-voting against the party. The Maharashtra Assembly election is set to take place in the next few weeks.
