Avia Solutions Group ordered 40 737-8 airplanes from Boeing with the potential to order 40 more, according to Boeing.

Avia Solutions Group (ASG), the Lithuania-based wet lease specialist, has purchased its first new aircraft directly from a manufacturer, ordering up to 80 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. ASG and Boeing jointly announced the order on November 12,

Machinists are set to fully return this week, but Boeing has said it'll take weeks for factories to get fully rolling. The company reported Tuesday it delivered just 14 jets in October — its lowest mark since November 2020. Boeing is also continuing with plans to cut about 17,000 jobs.
