The NFL has suspended Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair for three games following his hit on Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

The NFL suspended the Texans linebacker for repeated violations of player safety rules following his hit to the head of Trevor Lawrence.

NFL VP of Football Operations Jon Runyan pointed out Al-Shaair engaging in more dangerous and unsportsmanlike behavior after his ejection, while also noting “multiple offenses for personal fouls and sportsmanship-related rules violations in recent seasons.”
