The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently issued a recall of whole cucumbers distributed by Arizona-based company SunFed Produce across North America, including in Connecticut.

More than 65 people are sick with the illness so far. These are the signs and what you should do if you have the produce in your fridge.

Check your refrigerator ASAP. There’s an active recall on cucumbers distributed to at least 26 states and five Canadian provinces. This is due to potential Salmonella contamination. At least 68 people have reported illnesses and 18 have been hospitalized as of November 26, 2024.
