Freshman star Cooper Flagg had 24 points and nine rebounds as No. 5 Duke held George Mason to just 29.4% shooting in a 68-47 win Tuesday night. Flagg, a preseason Associated Press All-American, shot 7 for 20 from the field but was active on the glass.

Cooper Flagg provided the offense the Duke Blue Devils needed as their defensive made life miserable for the George Mason Patriots on Tuesday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

In its last home nonconference matchup, No. 5 Duke was tested from wire-to-wire by a stout George Mason defense. But in the end, the Blue Devils prevailed 68-47 behind a strong offensive start to the second half and a consistently stifling unit on the other end of the floor.
