Hyundai announces recall of 226K vehicles over backup camera failures
DETROIT -- For the second time this week, Korean automaker Hyundai has announced a recall impacting hundreds of thousands of vehicles. On Wednesday, the company announced it is recalling more than 226,000 cars and SUVs because of a problem with the rearview camera which causes images not to be displayed properly.

Hyundai recalling 225,000 cars in U.S. for rearview cameras
Hyundai is far from the only automaker to have issued a recall for rearview-camera-related problems over the past year or two. A wide swath of manufacturers – from Ford to Honda, to Jeep to Ram; from Porsche to Audi, to Infiniti – have had to correct defects with the backup cameras in their vehicles.
