For the first time this season, the outcome was still in doubt in the late going as No. 8 Indiana held off Michigan in a tense 20-15 victory at Memorial Stadium. Indiana has done a fantastic job of pulling away against nearly all of its foes to take the game out of reach by the fourth quarter.

Kurtis Rourke and No. 8 Indiana's offense were sharp in the first half. Then the high-scoring Hoosiers needed their defense to bail them out.
