It was a Riyadh dream for Rabadanov as he landed a massive payout and became a world champion in one of MMA’s biggest promotions on Friday night. The Russian entered with a 24-4-2 record, which included a nine-fight win streak, but faced a stern test in the veteran Primus.

Khabib Nurmagomedov was a great fighter, but now he’s an awesome coach. He’s helped his fighter, Islam Makhachev, become the best fighter in the world. Khabib’s cousin, Usman Nurmagomedov, is also a champion in Bellator and hasn’t lost a fight.

Gadzhi Rabadanov is now a millionaire, and he did it in style. On Friday at the Mayadeen in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Rabadanov won the 2024 PFL lightweight championship with a brutal third-round knockout of former Bellator lightweight champion Brent Primus.

Both fighters who will compete for the PFL lightweight championship on Friday were among the least popular fighters in a talented division, but they undeniably earned their spots in the finals.
