A 31-year-old woman from Hawaii has been reported missing in Los Angeles since Nov. 11. After two weeks of searching, her father was found dead Sunday morning.

Hannah Kobayashi's aunt told USA TODAY that the past two weeks were already horribly difficult before learning about Ryan Kobayashi's suicide.

Hannah Kobayashi, a Hawaii woman, disappeared days after she missed her connecting flight to New York City from Los Angeles on Nov. 8
