The deal between WWE and Megan Thee Stallion has reportedly thrown a spanner in the works of agreement Stallion reportedly had with one of AEW's top stars.

In July 2019, the phrase “hot girl summer” went viral on social media, spawning tons of memes, tweets, and posts, all thanks to the song by the same name, written by Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion (born Megan Pete).

The whole thing came to light this week as the VMAs set forward with a slew of talent. Megan Thee Stallion not only performed a medley of hits at the event but also hosted. The latter gig gave Megan Thee Stallion a number of outfit changes, and one of them had social media fanning itself thanks to Vash the Stampede.

For years, WWE superstars and fans have requested that Megan Thee Stallion get involved with the company in some capacity. They got their wish this past week as she now lays claim to the Friday Night Smackdown theme song,
