Eagle lovers around the world who were crushed by the live-streamed collapse of a nest with two birds and their chick last April will get another opportunity when a new eagle camera goes live Thursday.

A camera in Minnesota will follow a pair of bald eagles as they make their nest and raise chicks. A previous eagle pair’s nest collapsed in a storm in 2023.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) announced on Tuesday it's adding another EagleCam that will feature a new nest with a bald eagle pair this season.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources EagleCam, with viewers in all 50 states and more than 150 countries, will feature a new location and pair of bald eagles when it goes live Thursday. The original EagleCam will also remain on during the coming season.
