League matchup between the Philadelphia 76ers and Utah Jazz on Saturday night was interesting for more reasons than one. Not only did these two teams boast top-five selections in the 2025 NBA Draft, but one franchise passed on one player for the other.

VJ Edgecombe finished with an impressive double-double in his debut in the Salt Lake City Summer League, leading the 76ers in a loss to the Jazz.

The Philadelphia 76ers rookie, the No. 3 pick in the NBA Draft out of Baylor, made his NBA Summer League debut in Salt Lake City on Saturday night. And yeah, he had the SCTop10 level highlight. He also did everything else, all night long. He was clearly, unequivocally the best player on the floor.
