A Saturday morning snowstorm enveloped Faurot Field in Columbia, Mo., with snow still falling from the sky and covering the field by the time Missouri and Arkansas kicked off just after 2:30 p.m. Here’s a look at the snow earlier in the day and at game time:

Arkansas football head coach Sam Pittman will be in the booth for the Razorbacks (6-5, 4-3 SEC) season finale against No. 21 Missouri (8-3, 4-3). Pittman is scheduled to have surgery for a broken hip in the coming days,

The Arkansas Razobacks fell to No. 21 Missouri 28-21 in this year’s Battle Line Rivalry on Saturday. The Hogs finish the regular season 6-6 with a 3-5 record in SEC play. Arkansas is now 0-7 in games against Missouri in Columbia.

As the snow continues to fall ahead of Arkansas at Missouri, Razorbacks coach Sam Pittman will reportedly be making calls from inside the coaches box, rather than on the sidelines. Trey Schaap of 103.

Even at 5-5 with two games left to get to bowl eligibility vs. Louisiana Tech and rival Missouri, the Arkansas faithful want the lovable Sam Pittman gone. I think he should stay, but if he goes, here is a brief look at who may replace him in Fayetteville.

With bowl eligibility secured, Sam Pittman will likely return next season as Arkansas football head coach. He's ready to fight like hell for the Hogs.
