Wicked’ star Ethan Slater praised his girlfriend and costar Ariana Grande as she continues to celebrate her 2025 Oscar nomination

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ethan Slater has expressed his admiration for Ariana Grande after she received her first Oscar nomination for her role in 'Wicked.' The 32-year-old actor, who has been dating Grande, 31, since 2023, met her on the set of the film where she portrayed Glinda and he played Boq.

In total, Wicked — in which both Ariana and Ethan star — was nominated for 11 Critics Choice Awards. By the end of the night, the blockbuster had scooped up three awards: Best Director, Best Production Design and Best Costume Design.

Ariana Grande is teasing the follow-up to her Oscar-nominated performance as Glinda in "Wicked." Grande, who will reprise her role for Part Two titled "Wicked: For Good," told The Hollywood Reporter that the second installment is darker than the first film.
