Baton Rouge Police Chief Thomas Morse said the shooting appears to have stemmed from an attempted robbery at a business. Emergency officials said the shooting reportedly happened in the parking lot of Coffee Bean Cafe on Coursey Boulevard near S. Sherwood Forest Boulevard just after 6:30 a.m. The victim is expected to be okay.
