The Burton Fire District (BFD) announced Friday morning that Captain Lee Levesque is retiring after 37 years of service.

The Franklin Fire Department is remembering a revered former fire captain who died after a battle with brain cancer.

Kevin “KT” Thompson was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a cancer that forms in white blood cells, in 2019.

He "was known and loved by many, and respected for his expertise throughout the fire service and beyond," the Bristol Fire Department said.
