Pakistan’s prime minister said Friday the United States and Iran have agreed to wording of an agreement aimed at ending their war in the Middle East and that mediators were working with both sides to finalize a deal.

The Vice President arrived in Switzerland to begin talks on a deal aimed at ending the war in Iran and stabilize the Middle East.

After days of uncertainty and tit-for-tat military strikes, "text of the peace deal has been reached," according to Pakistan's prime minister.

Vice President JD Vance was expected to meet with Iranian negotiators. But the conflict in Lebanon threatens efforts to reach a broader peace and keep the Strait of Hormuz open.
