Temperatures will also be much milder than last week, when temperatures hovered in the 80s. The cold front that's moving through the area will bring cooler conditions. Monday and Tuesday will have a high around 70 degrees, and the rest of the week will have highs around 74 or 75 degrees.

A widespread area of rain and thunder is rolling east across the region and there’s some pockets of heavy rain as well. Rain and storms extend all the way back into southcentral Kansas so multiple waves of rain will continue through mid to late morning.

A complex of storms to our west should weaken as it heads in our direction. We could still see some showers and weak storms, especially across our western counties. Additional spotty thunderstorm development will be possible later today and this evening but there should be plenty of dry time.
