Fans of Liam Payne, the 31-year-old former member of One Direction who unexpectedly died at a hotel in Argentina last week, honored the singer with vigils throughout Europe and Argentina over the weekend. Police said there were between 800 and 1,000 people in London's Hyde Park for a tribute to Payne on Sunday, the BBC reported.

His death has been particularly profound in Britain, where Payne, a member of the boy band One Direction, first achieved fame. “We don’t know loss like this,” one fan said.
