9.40 AM: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi is leading by 48239 Votes against SATHYAN MOKERI of the Communist Party of India. BJP candidate NAVYA HARIDAS is ranked third as per the ECI trends.

The counting of votes for bypolls in 46 Assembly seats across 13 states and two Lok Sabha constituencies has begun. Times Now has reported, that BJP has gained a lead in 7 seats. Early trends show Priyanka Gandhi leading in her electoral debut.

In the 2024 elections, Rahul Gandhi won Wayanad with 6,47,445 votes, beating his opponent by 3,64,422 votes. As of now, Priyanka has secured 5,78,526 votes and counting is still ongoing. Sathyan Mokeri from the Communist Party of India (CPI) is far behind with 2,02,261 votes, while BJP candidate Navya Haridas is in third place with 1,06,724 votes.

Congress candidate from Wayanad Lok Sabha by-polls, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is currently leading by over three lakh votes while the BJP has gained a lead on Nanded seat in Maharashtra, as per the trends of the Election Commission.
