Berkeley runners are joining nearly 30,000 others Monday to participate in the 26.2-mile long Boston Marathon. The Boston Marathon takes place each year on Patriots' Day — a Massachusetts holiday commemorating the opening battles of the American Revolutionary War.

Users can track as many athletes as they would like. Viewers can visit BAA.org on Marathon Monday for live tracking, the leaderboard, and other updates. The website will transition to a new homepage, showcasing tracking, searchable results, leaderboards, and information on splits.
