Mississippi State softball was shut out for a second time in the Women's College World Series, ending its season after a 4-0 loss to Texas.

Kaiah Altmeyer hit her first home run of the season to help the Texas Longhorns eliminate the Mississippi State Bulldogs from the NCAA softball WCWS on Friday.
