Heavy mountain snow will decrease Wednesday afternoon and end in the evening, but not before another two to six inches of snow stacks up, NWS forecasters said.

A major winter storm will impact the mountains beginning late tonight. Snow will be heavy through Tue night, lighter Wed. 1-2 ft totals are expected for the highest elevations.
