Deer Park pipeline fire extinguished, authorities say road closures will remain until area secure
The La Porte Office of Emergency Management, citing information from pipeline owner Energy Transfer, announced the blaze had been extinguished late Thursday. The office said in a statement posted to X that Spencer Highway will remain closed from Luella to Canada Road until the area is completely secured.
