Three Stanley Cup championship rings have been stolen from Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin's home in another theft from a high-profile professional athlete.

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin had his home broken into and burglarized over the weekend and his three Stanley Cup championship rings are missing. The Penguins say they're working with local police as well as team security officials and that Malkin has requested his privacy during what the team called an ongoing investigation.

Since last fall, several professional athletes from Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce to Luka Dončić and Joe Burrow have had their homes broken into and valuables stolen from their properties across the country. Now, Pittsburgh Penguins star Evgeni Malkin has joined that growing list.
