Wind gusts of 40 to 50+ mph are likely Sunday night into Monday as a cold front blasts through with a chance of severe thunderstorms. The cold front is likely to cross Northern Ohio on either side of midnight. The cold front could bring isolated strong to severe storms, with damaging winds and minor flooding being the main threats.
A couple of fronts will move through Montana the next few days with areas of heavy snow and strong wind. While there will be some heavy snow showers and squalls in the lower elevations, the mountains of western Montana will once again pick up the lion's share of the snow.
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory across southern Wisconsin lasting throughout the day Dec. 29.
By 5 a.m. Thursday, 20 inches of snow is expected to fall on Mount Zirkel, the highest peak of Colorado’s Park Range of the Rocky Mountains, according to the NWS.
