Whoopi Goldberg and her opinions have no intention of leaving our TV screens anytime soon. On a Thursday episode of “The View,” the EGOT recipient delivered a passionate message to anyone calling for the popular daytime talk show’s cancellation.

Whoopi Goldberg isn't backing down from the haters of The View. On Thursday, March 13, Goldberg fired back at those who criticize the show, especially those who called for its cancellation because of the cohosts' political stances.

Goldberg advocated for the Hot Topics table's right to express their opinions — often to the chagrin of conservative viewers.

Whoopi Goldberg has made a statement in response to calls from critics to cancel The View. Her comments came during the "Hot Topic" segment of the show. She and her fellow hosts were discussing California Governor Gavin Newsom‘s new podcast and his decision to welcome polarizing political guests onto his show.

Whoopi Goldberg had something to say to those critics who have been calling for The View to be canceled because the cohosts consistently offer critiques of Donald Trump. Perhaps ironically, her message came at the tail end of a discussion in which they were expressing their discontent about someone on the opposite side of the political spectrum.

The EGOT winner has had multiple health issues throughout the years which have forced her to skip out on her hosting duties.
