Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small and his wife, Atlantic City School District Superintendent La’Quetta Small, were indicted Wednesday on charges alleging the couple physically and emotionally abused their teenage daughter several times last year.

Ron Bailey is calling for the Atlantic City Board of Education to suspend La’Quetta Small without delay. La’Quetta Small is the superintendent of public schools for the Atlantic City Public Schools system. On September 17, 2024, an Atlantic County, New Jersey Grand Jury indicted La’Quetta Small on child abuse charges.
