The Utah Jazz had the first of many summer league showings to get rolling on Saturday night during their first of three Salt Lake City Summer League contests, taking home a narrow victory over the Philadelphia 76ers,

The Utah Jazz are coming off one of the most anticipated matchups of the whole summer that saw VJ Edgecombe and Ace Bailey go at it in a battle of top-five draft picks. While Bailey didn’t have the most efficient game, the Jazz came away victorious 93-89, and now look ahead to the Memphis Grizzlies.

There were rumors about Bailey not even reporting for training camp, so the Jazz decided to help ease things up by making a few concessions. They allowed Omar Cooper Jr., the elder son of his agent, Omar Cooper, to be a guest coach for their Summer League team.
