Djokovic announced this past week that Murray would join his team as a coach at least through the 2025 Australian Open.

In a recent interview with ‘L’Equipe’, Daniil Medvedev’s coach Gilles Cervara opened up on Murray’s new role: “Knowing Murray, I’m not surprised by what’s happening because I knew he wouldn’t be able to stay still for more than two or three months after his retirement.

Although his career as a professional tennis player ended only a few months ago, Andy Murray has already found his next challenge. The former world No. 1 – who will also do a theatrical tour next year – will be Novak Djokovic's coach during the upcoming Australian Open.
