Brazilian team Botafogo could give owner John Textor his biggest soccer success yet if it beats Atletico Mineiro in the Copa Libertadores final on Saturday.

Atlético Mineiro's last victory came over a month ago on Oct. 22 in a 3–0 win against River Plate in first leg of the Copa Libertadores semifinals. Despite the rough stretch, a final of this magnitude makes it a different game that's usually won on the margins; previous form is thrown out the window.

The 2024 CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores final is the fourth final in five years to feature two Brazilian sides as Atletico look to bag their second ever Libertadores win following continental glory in 2013 when ‘Galo’ beat Paraguay’s Olimpia in the final after a shoot-out win.
