More than 10,000 cartons of organic eggs sold at Costco stores are being recalled due to concerns about potential salmonella contamination.

Handsome Brook Farms is recalling its Kirkland Signature Organic Pasture Raised eggs for a potential salmonella risk, the FDA alert details.

The packages of 24 eggs were mistakenly distributed to Costco stores in several eastern states, the company said.
