Barely an hour before the first polls began to close on Election Day, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump posted on Truth social, the social network bearing his name, that there was rumored “cheating” in Philadelphia.

The messaging from Trump's team mirrors the 2020 election - his campaign filed lawsuits in a number of states, including Pennsylvania (where Philadelphia is based) alleging election fraud.

The Philadelphia Police Department, the Philadelphia district attorney, a Republican city commissioner and the Pennsylvania Department of State all refuted the claim. “A lot of talk about massive CHEATING in Philadelphia. Law Enforcement coming!!!”

Judge Angelo Foglietta denied Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner’s request to stop the controversial program. A Pennsylvania judge ruled that Elon Musk can continue his daily $1 million giveaway to registered voters in swing states through Tuesday’s presidential election.
