Gardai and emergency services responded to reports of an assault outside a residence on Dunsink Green in Finglas, West Dublin, in the early hours of Tuesday

A man who died following an attack at a house in Finglas last night has been named locally as Anthony 'Josh' Fowler - a Finglas native aged in his early sixties.

The man, who was 63, died outside a house in Dunsink Green and it is understood he was stabbed in the front garden.
