LAS VEGAS — George Russell may have won the Las Vegas Grand Prix, with Lewis Hamilton beside him on the podium for a Mercedes 1-2 finish. But all eyes were on Max Verstappen. For the fourth time in as many seasons, the Dutchman was crowned Formula One world champion.

Max Verstappen finished in fifth place at the Las Vegas Grand Prix and it was enough to capture the fourth consecutive F1 world championship of his career.

Lewis Hamilton drove from 10th to second behind his Mercedes teammate as Verstappen finished fifth ahead of Lando Norris in sixth.
