The Honda Activa e: electric scooter has finally been introduced in the Indian market. The Japanese e-scooter has quite a few interesting aspects and here are its top five highlights.

The electric two-wheeler market in India saw new product launches from different manufacturers, which consist of swappable batteries. A swappable battery in an electric scooter helps to change the battery at the swapping station at times of low charging and replace it with a fully charged unit.

Price announcement and bookings commencement for the electric Activa will take place on 1 January and deliveries will begin from February, 2025.

The Honda QC1 is set to be launched exclusively for the Indian market in the spring of 2025. Designed for short-distance commuting, the QC1 shares some design similarities with the Activa e:, particularly in the apron and side panels. However, the front design of the QC1 differs slightly, notably lacking the LED DRL present on the Activa e:.

While the Honda QC 1 has been specifically developed for India, the Honda Activa e has been developed for India and other emerging markets. Both the electric two wheelers are set to go in Spring 2025.

Both the EV models will be manufactured at Honda's Narsapura plant near Bengaluru and will be available with a warranty of 3 years or 50,000 km along with three free services for the first year
