The beloved comedian's coffin was carried out of St Mary's Cathedral in Glasgow, followed by mourners, as heartbroken fans lined the streets. Godley died at the age of 63 on November 2 after receiving palliative treatment for terminal cancer.

From St Giles Cathedral, the hearse then carried on to Cockburn Street, Market Street, and is now heading back to Glasgow. Janey is set for a St Andrew's Day send-off today in her home city, with a service at St Mary’s Cathedral on Great Western Road at 10am.

Janey Godley begins 'final tour' before funeral
The hearse will now travel to Glasgow, ahead of the funeral service at St Mary's Cathedral in the city on Saturday. Godley revealed she had ovarian cancer in November 2021. She was given the all-clear in 2022 but a later scan discovered signs of the disease in her abdomen.
