Boston mayoral candidate Josh Kraft is calling on Mayor Michelle Wu to “immediately halt” the razing of White Stadium that began last Friday, until the courts can rule on the city’s public-private plan to rehab it for a new pro women’s soccer team.

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and her challenger, Josh Kraft, both appeared at an event Wednesday where they greeted senior citizens while appearing to ignore each other. Earlier in the day, Kraft stood with protesters who want the demolition of White Stadium put on hold.
