Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel has joined a multi-state coalition of attorneys general suing to stop the pause on trillions of dollars in federal funding as ordered by the President’s Office of Management and Budget.

Nessel, a Democrat and Michigan's top law enforcement official, said her department was already learning of "services impacted throughout the state."

Questions remained Tuesday about which programs would be covered by the federal funding pause announced Monday and which would not.
