WARWICK, R.I. (WJAR) — A man died and a woman was hurt early Wednesday morning in a house fire in Warwick. The fire broke out on Holt Street around midnight. Flames and sirens woke up the neighbors a little before 1 a.m. Warwick police said there were reports of two people stuck inside the home on the corner near Pequot Avenue.

One person has died, and another has been hospitalized after a fire early Wednesday morning, the Warwick police said.

PROVIDENCE – A man was found dead after he was trapped in a house fire in Warwick, R.I., early Wednesday morning, according to police, who also said a woman at the home was treated for smoke inhalation.

Around 11:00 p.m. Thursday, West Warwick firefighters responded to a report of a house fire on Burlingame Road.

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Four people were forced from their home after a fire broke out Thursday night in West Warwick. Crews responding to Burlingame Road around 11:10 p.m. were met with fire coming out of several windows.

The Georgetown Volunteer Fire Company urged people to avoid the area of Weston Road/Route 57 in the area of Broad Street.

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a house fire in Birchwood this afternoon, Thursday. Crews were called to the incident on Warrington Road at 2.50pm. They found it involved a fire on the ground floor of a house. A Cheshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a covering jet and a high-pressure fan to put out the fire and clear the smoke.
