Two-time Pro Bowl running back Joe Mixon has been fined $25,000 for comments he made about NFL officiating. The only problem is he didn't make that comment.
"Everybody knows how it is playing (in Kansas City)," Joe Mixon said after Saturday's playoff loss. "The whole world sees, man."
In last week’s wild-card round win over the Los Angeles Chargers, Mixon became the first running back since Arian Foster in 2012 to rush for 100 yards in a playoff game. He finished with 106 yards and scored a 17-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to ice the game.

In issuing the fine, the NFL apparently cited a Twitter/X post made by former Bengals star T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who wrote, "Why play the game if every 50/50 call goes with Chiefs. These officials are (trash emojis) & bias."
Mixon presents a difficult look for the Chiefs. He is strong between the tackles but also has the ability to create havoc as a pass catcher. The Texans will be missing slot receiver Tank Dell due to an injury suffered at KC in Week 16 and could rely on Mixon to absorb some of those intermediate routes.
